The post-holder will provide high level customer service both face to face and on the phone and via email. The post-holder will have responsibility for specific tasks such as issuing ID passes for students, staff and visitors, keeping records up to date and ordering stationery.

Our client is a school based in the outskirts of Brighton who are looking for a permanent receptionist to join their team.
Description
The key responsibilities of a Receptionist will be;
To oversee the 'front of house' area and ensure all visitors receive a warm welcome.
To always project a professional image of the school.
Answer and direct all incoming phone calls.
Process and distribute incoming post and frank outgoing post.
Maintain the general email account responding to queries/directing enquiries as required.
Issue ID passes for students, staff and visitors.
Assist in the upkeep of student and staff records, ensuring all safeguarding checks are completed for agency staff
Organise and store paperwork, documents and computer-based information.
Order stationery and first aid equipment.
Use a range of software including email, spreadsheets, SIMS and other databases.
Assist with the management of student lockers and keys.
Assist with organising meeting rooms and ordering refreshments when required.
Typing, emailing, filing, photocopying, data entry and other administrative tasksProfile
The successful Receptionist will have;
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Previous experience in a similar role
Excellent communication skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packagesJob Offer
