Position: Event Registration Manager
Salary: £27,000 to £31,000
Location: Brighton and attendance at events across the UK
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm with regular overnight stays away and some longer working days
Time back in lieu, overnight away bonus, 25 days holiday, flexible hours during quiet periods
We are looking for an Events Registration Manager to join a successful events registration and delegate management company with an impressive, professional client base in this exciting and busy role within the events industry.
The Events Registration Manager will be the first port of call at events across the UK as well as being involved in all other aspects including set up and other duties that ensure a high end service for their client base.
Main duties include:
Taking systems and equipment to events and running the whole arrival process
Ensuring everything works well and the customer experience is perfect
Travelling to and working at events around the UK and beyond
Managing the front of house experience, overseeing and training registration staff on the day of an event
Working with a technical manager, taking the equipment to the event and setting it up and travelling back to Brighton to unload when the event is over
Managing registration data for events from initial imports through to final reports
Liaising with clients to ensure the best possible service levels
You'll need to be highly organised, exceptionally customer service focused and able to provide a high level, well presented registration process in a corporate client facing, fast paced environment.
Previous experience in Events related roles would be preferred but high levels of customer service experience teamed with strong administrative capabilities and a good working knowledge of desktop and handheld technology is essential.
