Brighton, covering predominately East Sussex BN + RH Postcodes

£38,000 per annum + out of hours (1 in every 6 weeks – £300 retainer, £57 per job regardless of completion. Bank Holidays out of hours – 8 hours taken as TOIL or paid in lieu)

Hyde is one of the UK’s leading Housing Associations. Property Services at Hyde is responsible for ensuring that we provide all customers with a safe and decent home. As a Domestic Gas Engineer at Hyde, you will be required to undertake a variety of gas installations and repairs/maintenance.

Key Responsibilities of a Gas Engineer:

* Service, installation and repair of domestic gas appliances (i.e. gas boilers, fires).

* Perform routine maintenance checks

* Maintain and monitor the supply, stock and use of materials.

* Participate in the ‘out of hours’ service delivery on a rota basis (Currently every 1 in 6 weeks)

* Act as a liaison between residents and internal teams to ensure any property-related issues are highlighted and resolved promptly

* Raise any non-compliance or process failures with managers.

Essential Skills and Experience

* Previous experience as a Domestic Gas Engineer

* Great Customer Service Skills

* Essential Qualifications: CCN1 CKR1 CENWAT
