Hybrid Full Stack Developer opportunity – Global Pharmaceutical Software Company – Brighton, Sussex – up to 65k plus bens and bonus
My client is a global company working at the forefront of the worldwide medical and healthcare industry. They are looking to recruit Full Stack Software Developers to join their Web Development team to work on their core product management software which utilises cutting edge web technologies, contributing to all aspects of the software development lifecycle. This role will be part of the core global Research and Development team, developing new web applications in conjunction with the US development team in the Silicon Valley. This company are revolutionising the healthcare industry. This is a hybrid role where you will be based in the company’s modern offices in central Brighton, ideally 3 days a week, with the remainder working from home. This role will suit an ambitious Full Stack Developer looking to work for a global company, who is excited at the prospect of working in the raidly evolving healthcare industry on cutting edge software. You will be fully supported with further professional development whilst working within a collaborative, agile, multi-disciplinary development team.
Responsibilities
• You will be involved in the whole software development life cycle in a highly technical and collaborative agile development team.
• You will develop medical systems and data driven software using technologies including C#, .NET Core, SQL Server, Azure DevOps, JavaScript, Angular OR React, CSS, HTML and Microservices.
• Participate in the preparation of detailed systems specifications to meet defined requirements.
• Work closely with application developers, business analysts, business stakeholders and QA teams.
• Liaise with other development, support and management teams in the US as necessary.
• Be prepared to learn new technologies.
• Support existing applications where required.
Required Skills and Experience
• 4+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience in actively developing software using .Net technologies, with a primary interest in C#, JavaScript and Cloud technologies.
• Able to communicate clearly and work positively with colleagues and customers.
• Experience architecting and contributing to solution design.
• Ability to quickly take on and learn new technologies, tools and libraries
Desirable Skills
• Experience using TFS and GIT.
• Experience of working in an Agile development process (e.g. SCRUM).
• Cloud and/or Big Data Technologies such as Azure DevOps, Azure, DataBricks, Kafka etc
• Familiarity of Angular OR React frameworks
