Description:
The Solutions Architect is a senior role within the Innovation and Transformation Team, part of the Student Journey Directorate.
What will you be doing:
* Maintain a high quality, Professional Services, engendering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Collaborates with Business Analysts and Product Owners to ensure understanding of business requirements.
* Pro-actively promotes and supports the implementation of the ITS Software Development Life Cycle, including continual process improvement and maintenance of associated tools.
* Contributes as technical expert in project teams concerned with the delivery of systems and services that are critical to key business functions. Uses specialist knowledge and expertise to analyse and present technical options, and advising on recommended approach.
Essential criteria:
* Good knowledge of professional software development practices and associated technologies.
* Strong knowledge of HTML, web frameworks and web accessibility standards.
* Analytical skills with the ability to generate effective solutions and make effective decisions.
* Good experience of Oracle Forms and Oracle Databases
* Good experience of database development with PLSQL
Desirable Criteria:
* Good experience of Dell Boomi and Flow
* Experience working with Cloud Identity Platforms
* Minimum of two years working with an Enterprise Service Bus/microservices platform
