Job Title: Property Management Assistant
Location: Brighton
Salary: £22,000 – £24,000 per annum (dependent upon experience)
Full Time: 8:30am – 6:00pm, 1 in 4 Saturdays working
Our client is a leading local property group and are looking for a self-motivated and confident Property Management Assistant to join their experienced and friendly team. As a Property Management Assistant, you will be responsible for logging maintenance and repairs, ad hoc data entry and other administrative projects, and a range of other tasks. If you consider yourself to have strong customer service skills and an ability to work under a high-pressure environment, then the role of Property Management Assistant might be a great opportunity to get into the property industry and develop your career. This role is full time from 8:30am and 6:00pm and requires a clean UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
Logging maintenance and repairs on the electronic systems
Ringing and assessing quotes
Correspond by phone, email / letter with Tenants, Landlords & Contractors
Progressing work through to completion / closing on the system
Approving invoices
Negotiating Tenancy renewals and increase in rent, drawing up relevant tenancy / notices.
Dealing with all aspects of tenancy renewals on all properties.
Liaising with Landlord and Tenants to negotiate new terms of contracts.
Sending out agreements and documentation via Adobe sign.
Updating tenancy deposit scheme details
Dealing with any change in sharers by obtaining tenant references and sending out new tenancy agreements.
Adding properties, tenants' details and uploading documents to the checkout system.
Responsible for answering the phone, greeting callers, establishing reason for calling, and resolving queries.
Organising keys in readiness for appointments and contractors.
Scanning, reviewing, and organising documents.
Ad hoc Data Entry & Administrative projects.
Requirements
Clean UK driving licence is required
The ideal candidate would have experience in the industry although this is not essential
This position would suit a confident self-motivated person with excellent customer care skills, along with the ability to work as part of a team
Be target driven and tenacious
Ability to develop and maintain relationships
Excellent telephone manner
Be able to prioritise workload
Strong customer service and organisation skills
Great attention to detail
Reliable
Good timekeeping
Able to work well in a high-pressured environment
