NonStop Consulting is looking to recruit an Infrastructure Solicitor/Barrister for a private utility company responsible for the public wastewater collection and treatment.
The successful candidates will be required to attend the offices in Falmer, Brighton at least 2 days per week with occasional attendance at our main offices in Durrington, Worthing.
The client is looking for a professional who will provide high quality infrastructure development, structuring and consenting legal services to the general day-to-day activities of the Environment and Planning team on all significant infrastructure projects.
Requirements:
UK qualified Solicitor or Barrister
Good knowledge of infrastructure, planning, environment, and related regulatory law
Knowledge of statutory and environmental regulations
Knowledge of the development consent order process
Expert knowledge of law and legal research techniques, contract drafting and interpretation
Nice to have: previous experience in UK utilities industry and its regulatory and quasi-regulatory obligations
