Senior Developer moving into Lead Developer role – Leading AI Data Analytics company – Remote working – to £75k plus bonuses
My client is a leading Internet SaaS platform company. They are looking to recruit 2x Senior Developers who are keen to progress their careers into Lead Developer roles in the next 12 months. This company make a market leading global AI Data Analytics platform. This role is offered on a remote working basis with a day once every three months in Brighton, Sussex for a company event day and is paying up to £75k per annum.
The Senior developer will be part of an Agile Development team and will over time take the responsibilities of a Lead Developer who is responsible for the overall performance of their sprint team. This covers both development, by the completion of sprint tickets, and the management of the team members. The Developer will ensure the work taken into each sprint is achievable and completed to a high standard. You will ensure the overall happiness and performance of the team by undertaking monthly one to ones and bi-annually appraisals.

We are looking for 2x Back End focused Developers to join our client’s team as they prepare to grow massively over the next 2 years. The Lead Developer manages the Developers of a sprint team ensuring the team is properly resourced, well trained and engaged. You will work with Product Managers and BA’s to ensure a sprint of work is achievable during planning and ultimately delivered. Ensuring events such as scope change, sickness and holidays are dealt with efficiently. In this role as a Developer, you will also be an active member of the sprint team contributing to the sprint of work. We anticipate the split between development work and team management tasks to be 80/20.
Experience Required:
* 5+ years software development experience.
* Experience with either Perl, Java, Python, Node, JavaScript or Typescript.
* Good Agile development understanding and experience.
* Knowledge of SOLID principles and the SDLC would be a plus.
