LHH are exclusively partnering with a rapidly growing business based in Sussex to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. Due to continued growth the business is looking to add a qualified Accountant to its team to support them through further expansion globally. The role would be an ideal first move for someone looking to make the move from practice to industry or someone who has recently qualified within industry, who has strong technical skills and who is looking to join a business that has some exciting things planned.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the annual audit process (including SOX control testing and preparation of full IFRS financial statements).
Monthly reporting – this will include:
Consolidations across regions;
Monthly management financial reporting and analysis;
Monthly compliance reporting for banks.
Oversight of daily cash activities and managing cash flow.
Supervising the Finance Department (a team of four).
Key skills / experience:
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Trained within a Top 10 practice would be advantageous
Experience of IFRS / US GAAP
Ideally have some people management experience
Good systems / Excel skills
The company are based close to Brighton, have good train links and offer hybrid working of 3 days in the office a week
