Grafton Banks Finance is assisting our international listed client in Brighton, with an exciting hybrid role combining change management and financial reporting. The role title is Finance Manager and the initial contract term is 6-12 months, but it’s highly likely that this term will be extended or other permanent opportunities will be open to you.
Supporting the Financial Reporting Manager, you’ll be the primary point of contact for several key process improvement projects, contributing to the ongoing review and challenge of processes to establish efficiencies within the financial reporting team.
This role will suit someone with financial reporting experience in Financial Services, seeking to expand upon their project management experience.
Other role responsibilities will include:
Contributing on behalf of the reporting team as directed by the Financial Reporting Manager to group, business and internal projects, ensuring requirements are understood and agreed, planned and implemented appropriately.
Providing financial reporting insight to projects, ensuring requirements for ledgers and reporting are thoroughly considered and incorporated into project plans.
Developing and modelling statutory and regulatory reporting processes, information flows and data structures, linking to business systems and data.
Financial reporting experience from a financial services firm
Experience of process improvements and acting as a change agent is a plus
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
