Here are Prospero Teaching, we're delighted to be supporting a large secondary school in Brighton City who are recruiting for a full time Graduate Cover Supervisor to join them from September 2022. This fabulous opportunity would be ideal for a Graduate with a desire to break into teaching!

Your role will be to lead full classrooms and covering the absence of the permanent teachers, where you'll get to cover a wide variety of subjects. The school will support you appropriately and ensure that you have all the tools you need to do the role to the best of your ability. You will not be required to plan and mark any work, only to ensure that your pupils are gaining as much as they can from the lessons you're covering.
Supply Experience, Training and Qualifications
You must have at least 6 weeks experience working with children and young people. Experience with some SEN is desirable.
Up to date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.
Strong Behaviour Management skills are a must.
To be eligible for any teaching job with Prospero Teaching, you must;
Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application.
Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
Provide two professional child related references.
