Team Leader (Administration)

As an Administration Team Leader you will be a confident, positive individual with a passion for customer service who has experience supervising a small team. You will be supervising a team of around 5 administrators who are responsible for overseeing the receipt of orders from clients, processing these orders through various online ordering platforms, keeping clients updated on progress and returning documents to clients once complete. This is a hands-on role and you will be expected to learn each department within the team, train any new starters on these departments and assist the team where necessary to ensure we are meeting our Service Level Agreements.

This is a hybrid role working 4 days remote and 1 day in our Shoreham by Sea office. Our working hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm with a flexible approach to getting the job done and a priority for excellent work life balance.
Administration Team Leader Responsibilities:
• Supervising the administration team which includes the orders, updates, enquiries and returns departments
• Developing and maintaining a competent level of product, process and system knowledge to support the team in these departments whenever necessary
• Drive employee motivation by demonstrating role model behaviour
• Ensuring operational and customer service targets are met through effective leadership of the team
• Carrying out regular 1-2-1s with your team to discuss wellbeing, identify development opportunities and supporting this development
• Being proactive in suggesting process improvements to ensure departments are running as efficiently as possible
• Assisting with recruitment of new team members and providing thorough training to new recruits
• Dealing with escalated queries or complaints from clients and dealing with more complex cases
• Dealing with HR tasks such as absence monitoring, return to work forms, appraisals, approving holiday etc.
• Supporting the Operations Support Manager with any ad hoc tasks/ projects when required
• Assisting with organisation of team events
Administration Team Leader Requirements:
• Extensive knowledge of SRA accounts rules
• Experience of working in a law firm – preferably a high volume firm
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong knowledge of management information systems and making best use of these for reporting purposes
• Experience and ability in building strong working relationships and influencing at all levels
• Good stakeholder management capabilities
