Property Manager (Blocks) – Brighton – up to £37k
Our client is a long established and highly regarded independent firm of Chartered Surveyors specialising in the management of leasehold blocks of flats across the South East.
With a client base that includes commercial freeholders, resident management companies and developers, they oversee a diverse and highly recognisable portfolio of blocks and estates across Sussex (mainly), the wider south east generally and (to a much lesser extent) London.
As a result of recent portfolio growth, an additional competent property manager / block manager is required within their Hove office based property team for oversight of a compact, well run and loyal block portfolio dealing with service charge matters, major works (including S20 consultation), contractor management, buildings insurance, resident correspondence, site inspections and AGM’s.
The suitable property manager / block manager will need to have 2 years block / property management experience, a strong service mentality, a stable career history and ambitions to complete professional qualifications (IRPM – which our client will fund).
In addition, based on our clients focus on in depth local knowledge, the suitable property manager / block manager will need to reside in or close to Hove / Brighton and be familiar with blocks/estates inherent to the area.
Salary for the successful property manager will depend on block/property management experience but will fall between £29-37k with increments based on tenure and performance.
