Our client is a long established and highly regarded independent firm of Chartered Surveyors specialising in the management of leasehold blocks of flats across the South Coast.
Their client base includes commercial freeholders, tenant management companies and developers. Their duties include the administration, repair and upkeep to the common parts of their property and where applicable, the general upkeep of the estate grounds.
They now require a Property Manager / Block Manager to join their team with the aim to progress through the company.
The successful block manager / property manager will oversee (or assist with) a leasehold portfolio dealing with (but not limited to) service charges, major works, contractor / onsite staff management, resident liaison, insurance and AGM’s.
Ideally the successful block manager / property manager will be IRPM qualified, but not essential as full training in order to pass will be provided.
Salary will be negotiable on experience but likely within the £30k – £40k mark to start (on experience).
With our clients emphasis on local knowledge, they have stipulated that the ideal property manager must be local or within a reasonable commute of Brighton.
