Balfour Primary School requires a detail oriented, enthusiastic and flexible Admin Assistant with excellent customer service and IT skill. The successful candidate will be expected to provide support with general office duties whilst also providing exceptional customer service to our families, students, staff and other stakeholders. This post will also support the Business Manager with administrative HR and payroll tasks
Candidates should be able to provide evidence of:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of a range of ICT packages, particularly Microsoft Office
• Detail oriented
• An ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and able to use their own initiative
• Good organisational and time management skills

Hours: The post holder will be expected to work term time only, 1:00pm – 4:00pm Monday - Friday
Salary: LGA scale 3, £18,795 - £19,171 pro rata. This post is 15 hours per week, term time only, so the actual starting salary will be £6,770
Term: This is a permanent post.
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency's Points-based Immigration System.
