Position: Maintenance Engineer for night shift
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000
Location: Brighton
Hours: 4.30pm to 3.30am Monday to Thursday nights

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical, electronic and mechanical maintenance experience for the night shift with this large, well established and stable manufacturing and production company in the Brighton area.

Own transport is required due to a lack of public transport options at night.

As the multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer you will:

Complete scheduled maintenance work, as well as responding to ad-hoc machinery breakdowns, ensuring product quality and food safe standards are met
Maintain workplace equipment ensuring a smooth and productive operation
Operate machinery to agreed parameters
Identify issues and problem solve on the production line
Report daily on breakdowns tended to
Provide suggestions and solutions to help improve efficiency and reduce downtime
Cover on shift repair activities across site as required
Carry out mechanical work but some basic electrical work will be necessary

Ideally you will have experience in a similar role and it is essential that you have experience as a Maintenance Engineer, with a mix of electrical/electronic and mechanical experience (ideally 60% mechanical and 40% electrical experience).

You'll also need your own transport to access the site on the night shift hours.
