Air Quality Consultants
Continued growth within our multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy client necessitates new staff to support their air quality consultancy team in their Brighton office. All levels of experience will be considered although the minimum requirement is usually two years previous full-time employment in a dispersion modelling role. Currently they have an opening for just such a two year individual.
For more senior positions we would expect a proven track record in developing new business and in effectively managing client relationships.
Bread-and-butter project work includes predictive modelling for industrial, infrastructure, commercial and residential developments using ADMS, Aermod, Screen, ADMS Roads, Breeze Roads and the DMRB/IANs/WebTAG. They also regularly provide odour assessment and air quality monitoring services for indoor environments, restaurants, occupational exposure reporting and nuisance impacts from waste water treatment works and contaminated land remediation projects.
Although the bulk of work is UK-based, there is some overseas work mainly in the Middle East and Africa.
Good communication with clients on the phone and in person is essential, as is the ability to handle large amounts of numerical data and to write clear and concise technical reports in excellent English.
Why this role?
As a smaller consultancy, employees have a greater freedom and responsibility than with a larger organisation so you are less likely to be pigeon-holed. They seek bright consultants who are, or almost, the complete package with the result that staff are trusted to get on with a wider variety of projects than they might do at another company.
